Areas not unlocked during Yo-kai event

Hi! I've collected nearly all the Yo-kai weapons, but the GNB and DNC FATE's are in Stormblood areas, which I haven't gotten to yet. If I can't get there and obtain the weapons/mount before the event is over, are they just lost to me forever? Or will they be available from the Recompense Officer for regular medals or something? (I have over 260 of those anyways). It'd just really suck to have just two weapons and the final reward from the event be unreachable, and having no way to recover them, at least for a limited time.

Unfortunately if you're u don't get them before the event ends they are gone.

Unfortunately in order to get those you're going to have to get to Stormblood before December or you won't be able to.
Fortunately, you only need to get to The Fringes (the very first SB area) and you could possibly stay there and have someone help you grind fates to get.

I rushed an alt through HW and got those last two in the Fringes and The Peaks without flight. If this is your first character it would be a shame to rush through HW. I think you still have time though to do it right if you just focus on MSQ.

The event might come back.

It's impossible to say. This is not an annual event and anytime it leaves may be the last time we see it, but it has happened three times now, and they even added new stuff to it this time. I would hazard a guess that it will return, but if getting this stuff is important to you, don't risk it. You have until 5.4 to get it, and I believe current speculation is that will drop in December.
