Feedback on housing

Thanks first of all for adding the new housing...but here's what my experience was as a player today.

3:00 AM I am #881 in the log in queue. By the time I got in game, everything was gone.
Went back to bed, went to work. Came home, spent 5+ hours clicking on house signs and someone else got the house when it finally became available.

Overall, exhausted, fed up, and very disappointed. Grats to those who had better outcomes. There has to be a better way of handling housing in this game I challenge the Devs to improve their system. How would you have liked my player experience today? Does it sound like fun?

12:00 patch goes live, I was #38, got in. Empty ward. Get the plot i wanted.

Overall, was nervous not getting on in time, but happy.

I mean you got a plot at least. Pretty lot of people would be ok with it. YOu can always move later on at least and not play the damn placard game alot will have to do.

It's all the luck of the draw and timing. Just it's awful players have to go through any of that, so yeah I hope they make an effort to improve it before the next mad race for housing.

My feed back = please consider improving the apartment system with tenants. Certainly people will find a way to exploit something there but there are exploits of all kinds available for all to exploit and pretend nobody notices or lie outright about as it is.

Additionally, please increase the various sizes of the apartments, and consider giving "FC" versions of apartments that need specific requirements.. Will people make alts and try to make their own fcs and exploit this system? Yes absolutely, but it's already happening, and the current ward system is garbage anyways. If I need to expound on why I believe this, I will, but just dig through any housing related thread, or the actual housing "sub forum" here on this very forum, and you'll begin to see.

I am not an agitated player upset that I didn't get a house or better one, I got what I wanted, and I'm content with what I got. I am just disgusted with the way it is handled like anyone else who's complaining about the current system. I have stood outside and camped for a plot multiple times, whether for my own fc, or my private house(s), on multiple worlds and I hate sitting there clicking 0040 over and over all day or night or both. I sometimes spice it up with entering a roulette queue and coming back to find others there etc, all of which usually result to lying their butt off about being there 13-17 hours while they were not there the moment i entered the dungeon queue and just showed up during the 10-20 minutes I was in the dungeon.

Bottom line is, it needs changes, and the ones proposed by the players seem to agitate and piss off other players for whatever reason. But the current implementation pisses off and agitates a huge swathe of the player base. I wouldn't get on the forums and make a post about quitting or any of that, but when I get tired of it enough, I'd probably unsub and do whatever else.

Additionally, the actual system for decorating a house is horrible and extremely time consuming. Let us put things on the X and Y AND Z axis. Please and thank you.

Grats to everyone who got a house. Sorry to all who didn't. I honestly thought it was a lot of fun participating in Housing Ultimate.

Wouldn't think it fun if you've waited over half a year for a chance at the spot you want, the spot that is absolutely perfect for every decoration you can think of, the one that you want more than anything else, and lose out on it because of a 6 minute 'checking' when you hit login, a 750 person queue, and nothing you could have possibly done would have given you a chance in the world, after HALF A YEAR of waiting for a chance, of having what you need to buy it.

This game has the worst implementation of housing of any game currently offering player housing, and it's utterly inexcusable at this point.

I made a new toon in Feb and have been trying to get a house for him since. I've lost many houses that I tried for in the 8 months. I never got upset cuz there are always chances in the future. I did get lucky yesterday with a house but even if I didn't, there's always ishgard.
