Thread: How much Gathering Stat does a retainer need to get the maximum yield for 5.3?

I think that might be the max yield for it but I am unsure. It could be 7 since I see that the Lemonette yield is 7 currently which is a bit earlier in the list.

It is indeed 7 max for sandalwood sap. It has a slightly higher base skill needed than lemonette so getting the max needs a bit more too.

Just to follow up for those who might be seeking the same info. After playing gear/materia tetris, I have come to the conclusion that:

MIN/BOT retainers need to 2185 gathering to get max yield on the highest end items currently.
FSH retainers need 1750 gathering to get max yield on the highest end items currently.
