    Cacelled Pre Order Question

    I hope this is okay to ask here. I just want to know if anyone has ever cancelled a pre order before, and how long it took to go through. I messed up my Endwalker pre order and cancelled it, so i can redo it. This was on the SE store. I'm waiting for it to go through before redoing the order, and was hoping someone had experience with how long it might take. It's been a couple of days so far.

    I wonder why mine hasn't happened yet... Do I need to actually contact them? I just hit the cancel button under Manage for the order.

    Turns out it wasn't as far back as I thought. xD I told it to cancel on the 6th, so it's been two days. I thought it had been longer. It just says "pending" at the moment. i want to redo the order so I can get the items, but I'm afraid to until I get confirmation that the cancel went through.

    I cancelled a pre-order with the Square Enix store and within hours they had responded and cancelled it. I think that they can cancel it all the way up until it releases but especially if the payment hasn't been processed yet which it hadn't for me.

    If you already used the pre-order code they probably won't cancel it, hence the wait time, as it can't automatically be canceled.

    Sorry was at work. I haven't used the code yet. I wanted to pay for it right away before using the code. But my bank declined it like a dork. xD And I could not find out if SE would just try payment again when it was closer to release. So I figured I would cancel and re-order. As of now, I still haven't received confirmation it's been cancelled. Weird...

    Email the store support. They were pretty helpful the last time I had to contact them. The forums support won't be able to help, they don't run the store.
