/tell from scammers in game

I have a bad feeling that this isn't exactly "technical issue" but I'm not sure where to put this post

so it will make a technical issue from it

I'm poor lalafell living in limsa lominsa (not important). Recently in limsa i have received a many /tell from strangers. This /tell was saying something about "not allowing Square Enix do this change is this hard time" (or something in that sense) and it includes a link to something disguised as ffxiv forum with strange domains for the forum (normally is .com) like .top or .nl or something ... long story short it was obviously scammer trying fished my login and password (probably send from a previously stolen account) and I'm pretty sure that I wasn't alone who received it coz people start shouting and warning others not to "click" to this link
(and now I will make technique issue form his problem)
and as low building citizen of Eorzea, I was trying to report this account ... but only option in report sub-menu after i right-click to name was about In-Game RMT so what I trying to figure out is how I'm supposed to report account like this.

You can use the Right Click / RMT report feature for these types of messages.
They are sent by the scammer/hacker, for the prurpose of tricking the message recipient into turning over their account info, so that account can then be stripped of Gil and used to send out more messages.
The real owner of the account is the victim, however reporting them would start the account recovery process.

Actually don't recommend using the report with RMT but the report with the harrasment option from the GM menu, specifying it looks like a stolen account using phishing links as they respond immediately and send you a message back thanking you for reporting the phishing ink and mentioning that you can now remove the player from your blacklist.

The RMT report will not get attended to immediately and the sooner they can restore a person's account the better.

This is exactly what you need to do - I just wish that SE provided better tools to report this sort of thing as reporting for harassment seems not to be the right option when it is in fact the correct one. When I reported someone for exactly the same sort of /tell I got a GM response in around 5 minutes.

There was a post on the lodestone about this kind of scam recently. Basically it ammounted to "dont click on links from strangers, especially if you dont know what the link is for, even if it looks legitimate"
Which honestly is good advice anyway - Links can be used to infect your PC, so be cautious which ones you click and who they're from.
