    Error 2002 Lobby server connection

Both my husband and I are unable to login from our computers as of 10-15 minutes ago.

“The lobby server connection has encountered an error”

Our wifi is working so not sure why the problem has happened suddenly. Is there any fix?

One of us was able to login only some of the tries, but nothing loads and we can’t use any skills/items, and eventually we get a 90006 error “connection with the server is lost”.

Also error 10105 connection with the server was lost

Same here from Balmung, been happening as of 3 hours ago for me.

Edit: was able to log in for a minute or so and had the disconnect symbol next to me the entire time.

Why would they make walls if I can't pull from one to the other?

Update: I was able to log in and have maintained an excellent connection and have been able to continue my questing. Not sure what caused the "Square Stroke" but it seems the servers recovered. If I had to guess it would be something along the lines of a DDOS attack from the mad botters that lost their accounts.

Good afternoon and thank you for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums

For any one still experiencing this issue, please try the following trouble shooting:

The game will use the Internet Explorer web browser to connect to the internet. Open Internet Explorer, then open the "Tools" setting, go to "Internet Options" and adjust the following settings:
    - Under the "General" tab, please delete ALL browser history.
    - Under the "Security" tab, please move the slider to the lowest possible settings or no higher than "Medium"
    - Under the "Privacy" tab, click “Advanced” and select ‘Accept’ under both First Party and Third Party Cookies.
    - Under the "Advanced" tab, please make sure that "Allow software to run or install even if signature is invalid" is CHECKED.
    - Make sure that all SSL and TLS (EXCEPT SSL 3.0) are CHECKED. [SSL 3.0 should be UNCHECKED]
    - Hit "Apply" to save the settings, and then "OK, to close the Internet Options menu.

-Please make sure that "Cookies" and "JavaScript" are ENABLED on the PSN Browser. This can be done by going to the web browser on the PS4, press the options button, then go to settings. The options for Cookies and Javascript will most likely be checked, uncheck them and then recheck them.
-Reset your router by turning it off for a few minutes, then back on
    - Make sure your anti-virus/firewall has the appropriate exceptions for Final Fantasy XIV (you can temporarily disable them while you try to connect as well).
-Make sure to use a wired Ethernet connection as opposed to wireless
    - Check the following Port Ranges on your router/modem to ensure that they have been opened:
    ▼TCP
    54992 through 54994,
    55006 through 55007,
    55021 through 55040
Your ISP can open these ports for you.

You might want to check if the following port ranges are open in your router. You can contact your ISP and request that they open them for you:
    ▼TCP
    54992 through 54994,
    55006 through 55007,
    55021 through 55040
