It wouldn’t be empty if they actually took it off gear so we would have to meld it

This is basically exactly what I wanted to say.I would suggest giving Piety the same damage increase as Tenacity, then adding your suggested spells but giving them equal damage to Glare/Broil/Malefic. The instant cast would be more than worth it for weave and moving and you can't spam them or you'll empty on mana. Those two changes would be a major healer QoL.
I actually just posted something complaining about WHM's weaving/movement failures and this would address it in a really cool way. Take their strength (mp) and cover their weakness (weaves/moving) to not actually change them very much at all while still fundamentally fixing the job.
I could honestly take it or leave it on AST, if it wasn't a dps gain and given the neutered Sleeve Draw that no longer basically necessitates Lightspeed being able to double weave at the cost of fitting another button comfortably onto my hotbars... I think I can make due with Malefic really.
I don't SCH much but at least this would avoid that weird time back in SB (I think?) where it was technically correct to just clip your broil when single weaving. That was weird and I didn't enjoy it.
Miasma2 was StB SCH’s main Weaving tool (also their AoE tool) - and better than clipping Broil... It was also better than Ruin2, as it was double the potency.
Miasma2, coincidentally, was also a high mana-cost skill, with the requirement of standing close to the boss. It overall demanded more skill from the SCH player, with the reward of better damage efficiency.
Had this discussion recently and we came up with the same idea x)
I'm not expecting that but it would be nice
