High pitched sound effects annoying my cat

Anyone else have this problem? A couple jobs in this game have extremely high pitched sound effects to their spells. Notably scholar (lvl 80 broil) and BLM (every freaking spell). It doesn’t bother me but every single time I play these jobs my cat gets annoyed and leaves the room, sits in the hallway and stares at me meowing. I have to turn the volume down really low for it not to bother her (I don’t like playing with headphones).

It’s not that big a deal but I just wanted to post this to see if this happens to anyone else’s poor cat or dog xD

Meanwhile we get people typing gibberish in chat only for them to say their cat walked/sat/jumped etc on to their keyboard. Change your config settings for effects if it's really such a legit issue.....

Yeah I turn down the volume when I play classes with those sounds, it’s not really that big a deal just wanted to see if it happens to anyone rlse

Headset? Use if you have multiple people or pets living with you. Most comfortable choice for everyone

I get more annoyance out of certain player voices, especially in battle. A couple of Lalafell and female Miqo'te options are especially ear-bleeding. I would pay for an option to mute combat yells.

Try putting combat sounds to 20-30% for other people. I found that helpful

If you really want results you may want to post this on the feline strike squad forum directly. I am sure they will handle it efficiently.
