Eurika in a Shadowbringers World

I'm still just barely started, just hit 19 and opened the second place, but am going to go back to the first one to grind more and try to get the mount before moving forward.

I intend to get a set of the glam for one of the classes, should it be the main one I use in there, take it all the way to the top tier maxed out elemental and use it in there? Or is the ilvl500 shadowbringers items just better?

I've seen in the marketboard some items with eurika only stats, should I be looking for and using those over end game items and maintaining a special set for in here?

Are any of those special stats on the upgraded weapons and armor that I forge in here, the relic weapon from stormblood and the glowing armor?

I guess, in short, I'm asking, what's more important, ilvl, or elemental bonus?

I'm a bit confused with the post. Are you saying you are elemental level 19 in Eureka and is currently doing Pagos (second area)? If yes, then I dont remember ilvl being a reqt in Eureka, if I remember correctly it's not used in there. The elemental bonus is much better, but you do have the magia board for elemental exploit. If you are buying from the MB just for something to use in Eureka then that is ok. But if you are buying the gear to also use outside of Eureka, go for the ilvl.

I have 500 from shadowbringers, so I don't need stuff for the main game.

I am elemental 19, I have pagos open, but I'm not going there yet, instead going to grind the first area more.

So, for equipment inside of Eurika, should I just keep using the ilvl 500 stuff I already have, or should I be trying to make the relic stuff and trying to get elemental level stuff, even though it's a much lower ilvl and the automatic suggestion, well, won't suggest it?

So while fighting in Eureka your equipment is synced to(i believe) i300. Any materia you have melded on higher level gear is ignored, and your stats are set to the highest possible for 300. The stats on a level 500 piece are high enough that you would wind up synced to max on both secondary stats your piece has. So if we're comparing a speed belt to a lvl 500 belt, i couldnt honestly tell you if the 3% haste is worth more then max stats. But if the comparison is your Kirins chest piece vs a lvl 500 body armor, the kirins wins hands down because it has haste AND a +131 elemental bonus. If you watch a player in a full set of elemental bonus gear versus a new one, its painfully clear which is the eureka veteran. They can shrug off many normal attacks, survive what should be fatal ones, and deal a lot of extra damage to anything they attack. If you have a long term goal in eureka, getting a set of elemental gear can only help. If your goal is a single glamour set, the elemental bonus isnt needed(indeed, youd have a glamour set before you could start working on a full elemental bonus set) - though if you picked up just the kirins chest the boost would help you a bit while getting your one glamour set.

So, maybe no improvement in Anemos, but by the time the armor and weapon start to have elemental on them, it'll be time to change.
