It is just you, I got what I needed for PvP at least; you know, something we rarely got a respond from.

And yet people keep asking for the story to be made optional or for the progression system to be changed. This confirms that story would not be made optional and that they don't plan on making any change to the system. If you already know that, then good for you, but this article wasn't made just for you.
It's also interesting to see that they originally planned to make alliance raid harder than what they end up having, or that they still have plans for PVP when people say they've abandoned PVP.
Youre absolutely right, the answers werent for me. Well guys now you know, "more of the same". Congrats. And yet people keep asking for the story to be made optional or for the progression system to be changed. Admittedly, He would probably answer the same way. Especially since job design changes aren't something you'll get an answer for til probably Announcement day of 6.0
If even that tbh
Uh, didn't say every Viera or Hrothgar cared about hairstyles so I don't know where you got that from. Even more so on that statistic of yours...You are expecting media journalist to waste their interview opportunity when they cares about FF14 at macro level not micro level.
Not going to happen.
The questions you are asking are micro level that impact maybe less than 1% of player base
Not every Viera or Hrothgar really care about hairstyle you know
Anywho, the fun thing about FF14's playerbase is that we're a collective of micro-interests. I'm not gonna pretend to have information from people in-game but if we're going by modes of communication from playerbase to devs on various social platforms, the repeated inquiries since shb's inception made on those questions I've listed seems to be at the very least moderate in quantity.
But I'll yield on thing at least that you and linayar are right on: barring the agreements made before an interview, even if those were asked, Yoshida and co have usually been pretty adept at dodging such questions in the past and I'm sure they'll keep on doing so until they're absolutely certain they can deliver. Or not.
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.
Wish someone somewhere would ask some healer questions. So frustrating never having anyone even touch the topic.
Black Mage has Xenoglossy, Yoshida has Xyloglossy...
Well, it's partly the fault of the interviewer too for asking such poor questions...

This is interesting because I was certain the crafting and gathering changes were intended to encourage people who didn't like crafting and gathering into trying it. I see no other reason for simplifying it and making it so easy.First of all, I’d like to point out that the development team and I don’t have the mindset of trying to force people to play all types of content that we bring to the game, and by this I don’t mean just crafting and gathering.
Did they actually think what we have now is what the dedicated crafter/gatherers wanted?
