already instant bought to support mogstation, Hopefully Emet's wave is next.
While I would agree I am glad the profits from these items go back into the game and not some other projects.
Damn. They could’ve made that an emote for the Make it Rain event...
Literally impossible - this was made by a foreign company (Think the Korean one?) that handles a foreign version of FF14, so there was literally 0 chance it'd ever be free in-game when it costed money over there due to contracting. been the same for all other foreign-developed mogstation items.
Oh sure, I know that. I was just taking more issue with the "actively wanting to support mogstation" bit of that post. I know full well that it's definitely inevitable with stuff from the chinese and korean servers.Literally impossible - this was made by a foreign company (Think the Korean one?) that handles a foreign version of FF14, so there was literally 0 chance it'd ever be free in-game when it costed money over there due to contracting. been the same for all other foreign-developed mogstation items.
I know that, but it's still kinda annoying if you remember they added a Questline to get the Haurchefant Emote ingame after high Fan demand.Literally impossible - this was made by a foreign company (Think the Korean one?) that handles a foreign version of FF14, so there was literally 0 chance it'd ever be free in-game when it costed money over there due to contracting. been the same for all other foreign-developed mogstation items.
Also, it would work with a 'different' Emote, as this snap is not exactly Emet's (subtle differences). But they just had to market it as The Snap to make people buy it more...
So as I said, I understand the problem with the Korean Server Team and contracts binding them, it just leaves a bitter taste.
I'm taking Lore way too seriously. And I'm not sorry about that.
I couldn't have been in the game itself because, were it not for the Mogstation, the emote simply wouldn't have existed (or if it did, then any of the emotes we already have wouldn't have existed instead).
Mogstation items are extra things that were created exclusively for the Mogstation. If it didn't exist, then the items wouldn't either.
