How are shadows on PS4 Pro/PC?

I play on a standard PS4 and im thinking about upgrading to the ps5 once this game gets supported. If there’s one questionable thing about the graphics it’s the shadows. They’re extremely pixelated and some tree branch shadows are just abhorrent to look at. It literally hurts the eyes because it’s just a pixelated mess of noise as the sun moves. Just curious, are the shadows like this on the higher end platforms like PS4 pro and expensive PCs?

I think the only real thing I've noticed is that tree/foilage shadows are a bit pixelated sometimes on both PC and PS4 Pro. Other than that they seem to function just fine. I'm guessing a lot of it comes down to the game's engine which is, for the most part, stuck in its ARR state.

I think the tree shadows are pixelated because the trees are pixelated. They're not designed to be looked at up close.

Generally the difference between ps4 and pro/pc is just the pro has a bit faster area loading. The game's engine is still the same so anything that looks pixelated or odd on ps4 will still be that way on pro.

What Iscah said. Also what Fox Kagami said. If you want faster load times, you can get an SSD in your PS4. Just hold out for that sweet PS5
