Agree with what? Where I said TP and MP are fine now because they're not fully utilized?
Or the part where I said you didn't read what Jinko said?
Or the part where there are different resource systems that aren't TP and MP?
Well if they're redesigning the entire system - which is what you're asking - then they could do better than just removing TP. Why not do something more drastic in that case?I think they should get rid of TP and make it that each class has it's own system. This would make classes/job more unique and you would feel a bigger difference when playing different classes. Would also make it for better more dynamic fights etc....
Edit: seems most of you need an example,
WOW as an example, War got rage meter, Death Knight got their rune blade system, Rogues got a combo points system and etc..... S-E can come up with their own systems for each class.
I mean, if they took away TP, then how will cross-class skills work? Cross class skills need a common currency, and anything that's a universal currency will mean death to your idea of a unique system for each class. So basically removing a common skill currency demands that the entire armory and subclass aspects of combat be removed. And if you want them to remove the armory and subclass system, might as well just abandon the entire combat class system and do something drastically different, like Guild Wars 2 or TERA or what-have-you.
The TP system is not bad nor broken. I want something that makes playing each class feel different. Right now other then the animations all classes play pretty much the same. Hit with some basic skill, build up TP, hit with an ability that uses TP and then combo with another one. It's all the same regardless of the class... yeah abilties have different effects but that basic of gameplay is the same between classes except for mages.Needs a better and mroe thorough explanations, pro/cons of this new systems, how it will acts towards balancing contents, how will it be better than currently TP system that is working fine and currently have zero complains.
You can't just go LETS DITCH TP because i feel like being a Rokien.
It's hard to explain if you haven't seen it in action or played a game like that. But im not saying TP is bad in anyway, just saying we could do better.
It's like arguing with children .. ... ... Ironically its probably exactly that.
-.- case in point (I swear people on these boards get worse by the day, I feel im losing valuable brains cells here half the time)dont you mean the lack of people who agree with you?

Nothing wrong with leaving TP where it is at but the classes could also get unique systems that may or may not necessarily revolve around TP.
For example, a class may get a mechanic where after using certain weaponskills, the enemy may get some type of 'charge' stacked on it and maybe they could add some skills (weapon or other) whose effect change based on the stacked charges but do not cost HP/MP/TP to use. Obviously in this case, the mechanic is partly TP based because you need TP to stack said charges. They could come up with ways of doing similar things without the use of TP at all... or something.
I would like to think that the folks at Square are far more creative than I and could come up with something better.
