How many mistakes are too many?

How many mistakes is too many is kind of a loaded question but personally for me it's a matter of whether or not you learn from your mistakes in a time span of say 2 hours. I generally prefer not to kick people and rather just let them figure things out since advising others on how to do mechanics / play the game has always ended up going south because I know how to play my job/class which is fine and all but that doesn't mean you know how to do the mechanics on this fight in particular. After some passes I don't call people out, I simply say, "I'm gonna ask the person/deadweight who's causing wipes to leave. Not going to say names, but you know who you are." and leave it at that.

99% of the time to my experience that person knows who they are and they leave.

Aside from that matter I wish SE incentivized actual raid content for FC's . They're kind of pointless outside of buffs/crafting. I personally wouldn't mind raiding with my FC as opposed to leaving and joining new statics every tier.

The thing I don't understand is why all the players with very high skill expectations haven't done what such players do in every other game- join an FC dedicated to high end content. I've never raided heroic content or high M+ in WoW with people outside my guilds, and I'm pretty midcore- a hardcore player with high expectations really should save themselves the stress by being part of a top end FC instead of pugging savage+ content.

I mean, most high level statics/fc finished farming for gear and got their parses half a year ago. People should be able to go into a farm group and expect everyone else to be farm ready.

Maybe this is specific to the Light Datacenter but it's currently rather the opposite. Everyone who can reliably farm the content seems to be so utterly done with savage at this point that the "farm parties" you get nowadays are more like "getting stuck on phase 2 parties".


Normally yes, you would expect farm parties to actually be able to farm the content. Guess this savage tier has been going on for so long that we've come full circle and ended up with people getting stuck on Chain Lightning and E7s addphase again.
