Latency really shouldn't play a part in making a fight difficult. There is only so much they can do with server code optimization. Fact is even when 2.0 comes out the servers will still be located in Japan adding a lot of latency for people not in Japan. SE really should of rented out space at data centers in each region the game is supported you know like any other MMO company would do. So we wouldn't have this problem to start with.

I'll reserve judgement until 2.0 is out. Getting hit by stuff when on your screen it looks like your out of the way shouldn't happen.

And really you dont need that great of latency in an MMORPG. Any problems caused by latency can be entirely fixed by optimizing the server. This isn't an FPS, or a game that requires split second timing.
