As you are already aware, FINAL FANTASY XIV is currently unavailable due to an emergency maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing.

Since now that patch 1.22 is available, we assume that many of you are in worry how much will this emergency maintenance going to affect the slaying of the primal Garuda (hard mode).

We would like to let you know that we are aware of your concerns and have decided not to count the maintenance hour for the hours and minutes it took to defeat Garuda.

However, there is a possibility where the hours and minutes player has predicted is exactly the same as the actual hour by also counting the maintenance hour. Considering this possibility, we have decided to make an exception for the Exact Prediction. If there happens to be a prediction that is exactly the same as the actual hour by also counting the maintenance hour, the player who made the prediction will also considered to be a winner.
(With the Closest Prediction, this exception will not apply and the maintenance hour will not be counted.)
