Bots on Anamnesis Anyder

Hi guys, recently i found some bots running on Anamnesis Anyder, when doing the roulete as a tank. At first i thougth they were just a shy or quiet player or just dont like to talk, but I got suspicious when the fight starts on first boss, I already warn them to move to the right safe spot, but 3 times they spread at each posibble spot regardless the arrow pointing which direction.

Then some delivery came, so i told them that i need a break around 5 minutes, on chat. When i got back, my brother is messing my char, he runs around circling the first boss room, and those 3 character just following my char. At first i was apoligizing, to them, but because of no reply i just run, unfortunately i run to a wrong direction

And those char just follow my character without saying any thing, so i run to the start zone, and they still only following me without a word, so i began just running around for like 10 minutes, and they just following me. So its a confirmed bots, my guess is that they are aiming to desynthesize the loot. I already report and found around 4 character so far.

This isn't a new thing, sadly.

I know of a guy on my server who's had a whole team of bots constantly farming phantasmagoria since 5.1 so they have no shortage of resources to spam tinctures with (Also with a bot, unsurprisingly). They can frequently be seen popping in and out of the same dungeon every 20 minutes or so near the tomestone vendor in Eulmore for several hours straight, and if they aren't doing that then they're farming aethersands instead.

I imagine it's likely the same scenario here, except the bot script glitched out at some point and didn't get the tank into the party properly. Even the gil farming bots in ARR areas glitch out and end up partied with actual players sometimes.

Yeah I've had those follow bots in that dungeon too. SE really needs to work on cracking down on player bots and not just RMT. This shouldn't be allowed, and they always get away with it. ><

If this ever happens to me, and I notice, I am going to engage the first boss, then run it out of the boss arena every 9 minutes to waste their bot's time while I play my SNES or something.

Yeah I've had those follow bots in that dungeon too. SE really needs to work on cracking down on player bots and not just RMT. This shouldn't be allowed, and they always get away with it. ><

They evidently were busier while the restoration rankings were active as the number of bans for botting was about triple what it usually is on that week, but whether that's because more people were reporting or they were just trying harder due to people's ranks being on the line is anyone's guess.

We they at least better than Trusts/Squadrons? Asking the real questions here. lol

Umm, sadly yeah, they are much better than Trust, I mean they do AoE combo to the mobs

Wonder what would have happened if you had reported all 3 for harassment while you were still in the instance.
