    Feature Request: Streamer mode hiding UI for viewers

    Have been thinking about this for a while. Everytime I stream, the people watching have to look at the UI, and the only way to hide the UI for the stream viewers is to hide it for myself. Would be amazing if in a future update there was a way to hide the UI for people viewing your stream but keep the UI visible for yourself locally.

    Not sure that would even be possible. The streaming programs are doing screen capture.

    The game isn't picking and choosing what it displays to other programs.

    How about a toggle that turns names of players into jobnames on Partylist, chat and above player UI? Then you only need to have a chat window set up to display party chat only.

    In case of doubleclassing add a number i.e. Samurai 1, Samurai 2, etc.

    You can already set it to initials only.

    Was thinking more on it. Since it would be an optional feature for streamers to turn on, it's fine if it's more intensive on your PC. Maybe if it simultaneously ran a duplicate mirror of your game with no UI on it? Would require better PCs but at least get the job done.

    Sounds like a very unnecesary feature. And even if they add it, how exactly will your third party streaming tools (obviously not Made by SE) know what it's supposed to capture?

    Do you really get this request often?

    Most FFXIV viewers are players themselves and used to seeing the UI and sometimes actually interested in what is being used and how.
