Lack of ugly people?

Is it just me or does it seem like this game, and hell even JRPGs in general have a lack of ugly people? Everyone has to look good or at the very least normal. There seems to be very little ugly or old people.

I was just reminded of that when someone mentioned why do all miquote look cute? I think there should be some ugly or old ones to balance out all the cute ones.

It's a fantasy game with magic and weird stuff. Of course there is a lack of ugly characters....

There are occasionally old characters (both of Miqo and others), but all the ones I can recall are male.

There seems to be very little ugly or old people.

There are very few ugly people, but one thing I appreciate about Heavensward is that it expanded the models available for the elderly and children. There are many, many more both since the expansion.
