Hello Mr.Recruiter!

I am a mmo-only gamer with 20y experience in the genre, and of doing the toughest challengers part of those games. 15y i have spent in WoW, and have serverfirsts,top-loggings arena master etcetc. I am now diving into this one, and looking for a nice guild to do that and also get into it rather quick, to try out raids and other of the more challenging aspects here.
With that said, i don't need anyone to hold my hand, but i am looking for a social guild, preferable with a discord and actual social people, laid back and drama free is pretty awesome aswell

There is probs more HC flavoured FCs on every servers, and biggest servers tend to have the spiciest FCs. Whats new. On light the Phoenix and Odin are likely the biggest server, on Chaos' side there is Ragnarok.

Thanks for sharing that wisdom. I guess i did not put alot of mind into choosing server more than datasenter. Is it possible to switch servers inside that datasenter? Or how does it work it hypothetically there i want to join a guild on lets se Odin?

Hey there,

if you are looking for end game content like raiding, you are rather looking for a static than an FC. An FC is more for social and casual stuff as well as the goodies and buffs you can get from it, but statics for raiding are often separate. And since all servers on the same datacenter are connected, meaning you can be in a static and play with players from other servers of the datacenter, it doesn't matter much what server you are on.
The only thing the server will limit you on are the FCs, since you can only join FCs on the same server.

We are a community for all Lich players with social channels, FFXIV resources channels and also static / FC recruitment channels. Maybe there you can find what you're looking for!

And to find a static i would recommend this Raiding discord:

But be aware that the current raid is already old and all the "good" players dont do it anymore becaus they have everything they want.
At this point it is just helping out friends and do the Ultimates.
You will have a hard time to find any HC raiding Static now.
And the next Raid patch will be in 2-3 month.

Im sure you already informed yourself but I will also leave the Balance discord link here because that is the go to adress for every bit of class optimation.

Also a big reminder, this it not WoW.
FFxiv raiding can be done without any open world preparation.
You dont need a whole guild to provide raid essential stuff.

Thanks alot for sharing wisdom about the game. I am going to follow up on the discord and tips in general. I have come further in to the game and grasped more. The negative beside have not found a suiting community to play with, is that i feel that the game is EXTREMELY easy compare to what i am use to. And i am judging that on end game streams i have seen more than current gameplay ofc. However i feel the game is worth buying for the Singelplayer MSq part alone, since it is a great rpg game. When it comes to the MMORPG aspect i am still very devided. I really REALLY wish it to be enough for me to play as a main mmo, but there are alot of aspect that need to be okey for me untill then. But since i have decided to give it a real try, as i alsways to with new mmorpgs, i hope i can find a good FC to try it , and really try it, do the game justice to say!

Hi! thanks for the tips, it is appreciated. I am familliour with the balance thing already ( one time theorycrafting nerd always one right?). Since i am exclusivly a mmorpg player, the last 20 year i am VERY strict to not compare with any other game. I have played WoW alot but so have i with many other in the themepark and also sanbox and other subgenre. It is with that said however it is with the differencies in this game i am courious to se if it hold as a mmorpg for me, and thy be my main mmorpg (i play more than one). But i have noticed now, that it is true what you said about the end game, my fear atm is that the game is WAY to easy for me, and not challeging enough for me personaly, since i am not a "collector" type of player that use my time gathering skins and mounts. I wil tho follow up on your links since i stand by my decisioun to give this game a serious try, as i always do with new games, i want to do it justice. And in worste case i have still bought a great singel player rpg game, it is good just as that to. However i really REALLY wish that i am gonna like the mmo-part as mutch to, but i am a sceptic now days. That is also why i want to find a good FC/static to really really try it out.
