    PS4 Error Code 2002

    Hi,
    Hoping for some assistance

So for the last 3 days I haven't been able to log into my Aether character (also had the same issue on a Crystal character). I'd select my character and won't be able to log in and receive error code 2002. Sometimes I don't even reach the character selection page and would get the error code when I try to connect to the data center in the title screen. On the few times I do get to log in, I would disconnect within 30 seconds.

I've noticed that is only happening on NA datacenters. I have no issues logging in and playing when I select characters in EU and Japanese datacenters so I don't think it's an internet connection issue?

I play on the ps4 and use a LAN cable. :<

Good morning and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

We would still like to recommend the following troubleshooting steps:

    - Please make sure that "Cookies" and "JavaScript" are ENABLED on the PSN browser. If they are already checked, please uncheck them then recheck them.
    - The issue could also be from the "Date & Time" settings on your PS4.
    1. Close the FINAL FANTASY XIV game/application.
    2. Go to [SETTINGS] on your PS4
    3. Select [Date and Time], and "Set via Internet". (Please do not manually set the date and time.)
    4. Once the date and time have been updated, please restart your PS4 console.
    5. Once the console has fully restarted, please start the FINAL FANTASY XIV game/application.

Please make sure all other internet-enabled devices (including smartphones, laptop/desktop PCs, tablets, etc.) have been disabled and/or turned OFF to minimize game interference.

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, please check to see if the following port ranges are opened on your router. You can contact your ISP and request they open them for you:
    ▼TCP
    54992 through 54994,
    55006 through 55007,
    55021 through 55040

Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy Technical Support Forums.
