    I keep having a bug loop of error code 3085

    Steps:
    1. I tried to make a new character on Exodus, but it gave me an error code of 3085.
    2. It kicked me out of the game right after it showed its message.
    3. I contacted the customer service via phone call, but the issue continued although I followed their instructions
    4. When error code 3085 was gone, then the system gave me an error that the name was taken (which was not, it was confirmed by the SE employee that the name did not exist on any of the data centers.)
    5. I also tested by deleting a character, make a character on a different data center, it still gave me the same error code again, 3085.

    Could you try the following:

    If the suggestions provided above do not resolve the issue, then there is a communication error.
    Check the following Port Ranges on your router/modem to ensure that the following Port Ranges have been opened/forwarded/triggered:
    ▼TCP
    54992 through 54994,
    55006 through 55007,
    55021 through 55040

    Your ISP may forward these ports for you.*

    If you have properly configured your router, and you are still experiencing these issues, our next suggestion is to bypass the router, and connect your computer directly to your modem. Please ensure that you power down both the modem and the computer for at least five minutes before attempting to connect to FINAL FANTASY XIV.
