As I said, it could have done with better balancing. I’m not disputing that.

What I am saying is if I wanted to be a good tank in 11, I needed to be competent at several very different roles: being able to play Warrior as either 2H axe, dual axe dps blink tank..or paladin (which could raise and offer emergency whitemage role) or ninja with fine timing to keep shadows up was significantly different than 14 where the tanks are 95% cosmetically different.


As is, it doesn’t really matter what job they add because the only real difference will be a very fringe mechanic, nothing core...at least for the target audience.
