Hoods/ shrouds for Casters/ Healers

What do you think about asking for Hood/ shroud/ cloak glams for Casters/ Healers? Actual example: YoRHa Hood of Aiming & Scouting
I'm bummed as to why they haven't already been made because although yes, Casters have large hats but a hood would come off just as mage-like

I’m always for adding variety, so an easy yes. Although I would prefer larger hoods like the above... even better if it’s a level 1 glamour for all jobs.

Not just mages, tanks have no hoods like that either and I’ve wanted to do a glam with one for a while. For some examples of knights with hoods, Orlandeau from FF tactics comes immediately to mind (was very disappointed we got Agrias gear instead of his from the ivalice raids) or Aragorn from lord of the rings.

Also for mages, while it’s not ideal, try the darklight cowl of casting/healing, it has a hood like that, it’s just unfortunately attached to the robe.

There's a Lakeland Hood of Fending, but i can't quite remember if there are any others.

There's supposedly a deepshadow hood for healing/casting too, but they don't actually appear on my Hrothgar so I can't tell how they look. :shrug:

Lakeland hood isn’t quite the same, it drapes at the back unlike the yorha hoods which curve round on the shoulders. Plus Lakeland isn’t dyable.

How dare you ask for this! It would ruin job fantasy. All casters require spiky hats. No exceptions.

But seriously, gear design in XIV is pretty bad. We need some new fresh designs, or unlocked glamour.

Or just make glamour plates fill outside of job requirements. Well besides main hands/off hands
