Suggestion: make some gap closer actual jumps

My heart always hurts seeing Dragoons jumps stay still in place when there's an obstacle, why can't they be real jumps that go over obstacles? Even the backflip jump isn't a real jump, if i use it from a mountain i get teleported to the ground. Even ninja's teleport isn't s real teleport. This feels so unsatisfying, it would be nice if these skills made pur character actually do what the skill implies: Jumping and teleporting. If the dragoon jumps to a monster on high ground why does he just stay below? I mean, jumping is dragoon's whole theme

They deliberately made them like that I believe. Ninja's gapcloser used to be an actual warp instead of invisibly sliding across the ground.

But I believe it let you reach areas you weren't meant to get to, so they changed it

If they did make the jumos "jumps" I wonder how they would interact with the jumping puzzles and how that might impact the design of future ones.
If Nin could just teleport to the next jump and wait for the move to refresh SQEX'd have to add moving / falling platforms or something, and I'm not sure how enjoyable moving platforming sections would work in this game ...

well jumping puzzles were always easier with ninja and the real reward is just the satisfaction after doing them, surely the could do some limitation tho
