Platinum Ceremony of Devotion - Bugged for the THIRD time.

Super frustrated - third time we have attempted this.

    ■Date & Time: 1:48pm CST September 20, 2020
    ■Frequency: three times, now
    ■World name: Balmung
■Character name: Zhemi Xyrjan and Pjren Atoel
    ■NPC name: Etoinelle
    ■Party or solo: 2-person party
■In-game time: 6:48 pm server time
    ■ Platform: Windows

    ■Steps:
    1. Arrived at venu 20 minutes early.
    2. Both partners had their bracelet AND blank invitation (with extra spaces in our bags).
    3. Etoinelle greeted us and said the hour was upon us.
    4. Etoinelle proceeded to teleport us into our changing rooms but we were BOTH greeted with the error "You have not been granted access to the Ivory Chapel and shall be removed from the premises."

We want the characters bonded... BUT .. more important than that is that we want to MOVE these characters off of Balmung but cannot as long as we have the quest "The Ties That Bind"...which we are unable to drop.

This is the third time we have attempted to do this, thinking that there was some error on our part...at this point, it's ludicrous. Please EITHER complete the quest for both of us OR drop the quest for us and let us transfer. I feel like a prisoner on a server we hate.

No one has even deigned to answer our other petitions in-game...so I'm trying here.

Sorry if this is no help, but are you trying to do this BEFORE your actual ceremony time? You said you arrived 20 minutes early and what you're describing sounds a lot like what happens when it's not your time.

Your ceremony time starts at the agreed time, not before. There's also no real rush either, you have 20 minutes to go in/start the ceremony before it'll expire your slot.

Again I apologise if you know this and it wasn't any help, but figured best to at least confirm it's not just confusion on when exactly you should start it.

Thanks for the attempt to help. We tried that.

If we tried to enter AT time, it tells us that we have to reschedule (I don't have the actual text, but it behaves as if we've missed our window).

Sorry I wasn't much help. This might sound silly, but I'm wondering if the wedding simply isn't when you think it is, like you're basically an hour late.

If you were trying to go in 40 minutes past the hour it would still be your slot, but since you're past the 20 minute start timer I assume it would throw you out as not enough time to complete before the next person (which is what you seem to be experiencing). That would also explain why when it gets to the "time" it says you're already too late/reschedule.

If you look at the time on the invitations, it's always adjusted for your own local time, so whatever time it says that's actually the time it is in the real world. If you and your partner live in different timezones, you'll both have different times, but they'll be updated to your respective timezones.

Hopefully that's more help, but again apologies if not!

Actually, when we reported at the time listed on the invitation, the NPC acted like it wasn't time yet. When we reported two hours later (as the invitation is in pacific time, not central time), she greeted us and SAID that the hour was upon us. She said she was teleporting us into the separate dressing rooms AND we both proceeded to get the loading screen, then were booted back into the Shroud with the message above.

tldr; we tried multiple times/time zones to make sure. The invitation is definitely in PST while we are CST...

There is your problem. Wedding invitations are not subject to time zones, the time listed is your OWN TIME ZONE. go on the time listed on the invitation. worldofneil also mentioned this.
