Logging into the game always fails at the Connect to Data Server Phase

Yesterday I started being occasionally kicked, until finally around 2AM I wasn't able to log back in again and still can't. It always stops at the connecting to data center part. I'm already technically logged in, it just wont connect to the data center (it throws error 2002

If Rhaervis's advice doesn't work, I had this happen a couple years back and what fixed it for me was manually selecting the data centre by logging in through the data centre option on the title menu rather than through the start option.
