yes i don't think the game will look like this in the near future. we will see in the next trailers in 2021.

you are correct, if you compare early shots of FF7 Remake trailer to the final product ull notice that a lot of the visuals and the characters look a lot better, XVI doesnt even have an announcement date we probably wont play it b4 2022.
Also lets be real its a fact Streams/YT/videos dont make justice for any games visuals.
Dmc 5 combat designer on ff16
Yoshi p on the wheels
ff14 Story writers
Sign me up. This game has the foundation of becoming the best final fantasy entry ,nigh the best game ever made.
SE pls give your team everything they need and want. This game needs to succeed.

okay so I didn't read up on who was involved but if the main scenario writers of FFXIV are on this, yes, could be a fun story.
And I do not care for action combat Final Fantasy but if it has to have action combat? Yes, absolutely, get the DMC5 folks involved.

Is XVI part of XIV's universe, another shard, or just an alternative of XIV?
Because I watched the trailer just now and I swear I heard "eikon" "mother crystal" "summoned their eikon with crystals"
Name Meaning:
Nekaru = Neko + Hikaru
Infitima = Infinity + Ultima
It aint. The final fantasy franchise has the gimmick of using the same blocks ( monsters , crystals , magic names) But structuring them differently.

Yes I know that, crystals and summons and such. IX my favorite called them eidolons. But 16 used the exact terms, not just another name for them. Mother crystal, eikon, etc. Like FF9 had the father crystal, who's name escapes me at the moment, but again, different terms. This was the exact same ones.

well eidolons have been used on ff type 0 and 13 as well, and espers is another one that is used in like both 6 and 12. So its just eikons timeYes I know that, crystals and summons and such. I'm liking the medieval settings. Honestly it's all speculation but this could be our next-gen mmo with the bit of information we have here ( https://www.usgamer.net/articles/con...n-game-emerges ) and the FFXVI official announcement we've gotten today. The concept art in the blog is also fitting the medieval theme.
Anyways, we'll probably know more during Tokyo Game Show on the 27th later this month.

Im getting a lot of FF14 vibes too even the music at the end.
Anyway I’m all for returning to medieval setting. I think it’s been over 20 years now since we had the modern world lore, with the last medieval setting on FF9.
