    DCing only in duties

So i'm not able to figure out what is going on but I keep getting constant disconnects in duties. I have no problems while running around in game doing quests but if i try to enter a duty i will disconnect 5-15 times a run. I have no issues doing anything else in the game (haven't tried PvP though) or in any other game i play. I only run into connectivity issues doing Duties. I'm not sure if there are any recommendations but it would be so great to get this fixed.

    Thank you!

Good afternoon and thank you for post in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums

Are you connected directly to the router or are you using WiFi? additionally what have you tried to alleviate the issue?

I'm connected directly. I've tried forwarding all my ports. resetting my router and modem. I've tried running the game with a vpn. I've refreshed my dns and ip. I only have connection issues with this game specifically.

Good morning and thank you for the reply

    Could you try the following:

The game will use the Internet Explorer web browser to connect to the internet. Open Internet Explorer, then open the "Tools" setting, go to "Internet Options" and adjust the following settings:
    - Under the "General" tab, please delete ALL browser history.
    - Under the "Security" tab, please move the slider to the lowest possible settings or no higher than "Medium"
    - Under the "Privacy" tab, click “Advanced” and select ‘Accept’ under both First Party and Third Party Cookies.
    - Under the "Advanced" tab, please make sure that "Allow software to run or install even if signature is invalid" is CHECKED.
    - Make sure that all SSL and TLS (EXCEPT SSL 3.0) are CHECKED. [SSL 3.0 should be UNCHECKED]
    - Hit "Apply" to save the settings, and then "OK, to close the Internet Options menu.
