Krotoan, like linayar you keep posting the same stuff over and over. Pretty much everything you post has been disproved and / or responded to multiple times already. Why are you spamming the thread with this same stuff over and over? It's just going to get the same answers.

Your point about what you're telling the seller isn't correct. It wasn't correct before, it still isn't. As mentioned above and in previous posts, companies work on targets and projections. They aim to sell X amount of something. Companies don't assume customers don't think something is expensive, just because they buy it – especially when that company has a monopoly on the things they sell, like SE. They look at their statistics, records, projections and targets etc. over large time periods to determine what customers think of their products.

According to your bizarre logic, no company in the history of business has ever reduced prices on anything that ever sold so much as a single instance. Because according to you, when people buy something, that tells the seller the price isn't too much. Yet we live in a world full of sales so clearly that isn't true.

I will repeat yet again, just because people buy something that does not mean it tells the seller the price isn't too expensive. It never has before with any other business, it doesn't here with SE and their DLC.

Why are you bringing up the cash shop not changing its prices? That's one of MY points. We even know that the sales figures for many of the items are rubbish as someone posted a link earlier in the thread detailing the popularity of certain items.

None of that is relevant though. This game isn't in isolation. People have a whole world of video games and DLC to compare with which is why they know that the prices are too much for many of the items.

I don't know why you keep asking for 'proof'. I literally gave you 2 sites to visit. I don't care if you visit them or not. No one needs to prove to you that 2+2 doesn't = 5. I cannot believe you really believe that the Steam site and the PS Store have no DLC cheaper than that which the cash shop offers. I don't spoon feed people but I did offer you multiple times a deal where I would be prepared to waste minutes of my precious time finding specific examples for you but you haven't taken the deal once. It's still available.

Why do you keep posting this stuff over and over? I got what you're saying the first time you posted it weeks ago. I posted specific reasons why it's not the case.

Nope, you never showed how people comparing things should make SE change their pricing if there are enough people buying them.

It's just that simple.

Making a thread, or complaining in a thread about how you dont like the pricing of "Optional" items, isnt going to do anything, especially if other people are still buying them for the set price.

May I introduce you to WoW's 25$ race changes? Or maybe the 30$ faction changes? Or a nice 60$ (last time I checked) level boost for 1 character?



I can however agree that something like mounts and maybe minions should just all be account wide, increase the prices a bit for all I care as long as I would have it on every character, if I ever decide to make an alt.

Or WoW's free to change gender, face, eye color etc...

Not only the prices are too high, but the Mogshop is also more densely packed with crap that should already be integrated into the game considering we pay for sub + buy each expansion. It's worse than any F2P cash shop I've ever seen. The one cash shop I can think that's probably just as bad is Blade & Soul, tbh. But that's how they make their money because otherwise, their game is free to play, unlike FFXIV.


Things that should be in the Mogshop:
• Story skips
• Level skips
• Fantasia
• NPC outfits (e.g. Y'shtola's SHB outfit) & Limited edition outfits
• Wedding packages
• Special dyes (because they're available in-game, too)
• Maybe: special emotes (I would prefer if there was a way to get them in-game, too, like dyes)
• Maybe: FFXIV soundtracks (to download on your own PC as MP3s)

Things that shouldn't be in the Mogshop:
• Mounts
• Bardings
• Minions (excluding limited edition, maybe)
• Most outfits (excluding NPC outfits)
• All housing items
• Most emotes that are in there
• Orchestrion rolls
• Maybe: all holiday items (because they could recycle holiday events and/or items)


(It is especially crap that most items, like emotes, are not account wide for the cost.)
