the motorcycle is cool. I had the mount music turned off and i had to reset the game settings due to some dx errors and i was honestly expecting the generic mount music they use for a lot of hte mounts. Needless to say it is pure nostalgia from FFVII on the motorcycle with its mount music.IF only if I could swing a buster sword on it.The Mogstation leaves much to be desired though. Mostly consisting of seasonal event items from events you missed. All the outfits aren't terribly exciting either: half of em from npc's that are no longer wearing them or are no longer around to wear em, the other half being original designs but kinda bland looking. Then there are the two pairs of outfits from other FF titles. They should do MORE of that.
We then have the highly disturbing lack of weapon bundles. This one really gets me down, cuz when I go into a cash shop I head over to the weapons section first to see what they've got, see how cool they look, and am somewhat pleased. Mogstation's is extremely pitiful. All you've got are: 1) Scythes 2) all of the Heavensward weapons 3) FFXIII weapons. That's it. No weapons for any other job in that shop, not even my dear Rouge Ninja. Disgraceful.
Only 24 mounts and they're meh. I bought the cloud though. (the motorcycle might be next)
Everything else I don't care about. The Mogstation could deeeeeeeeeeefinitely stand to get more shit, either original designs and/or from the game itself, or from other FF titles and/or Square games. But if there are money/ licensing issues that I don't know about, then I guess that's that.
FF14's cash may not be that bad at all, but for what it has to offer, it's pretty bad.
3.5/10
The same thing that was repeated in another thread.
-SE are rats
-The Moggstation sucks
-They will not change anything because a large part of the community defends this
And voila, people have the right to complain as many times as they want because it is a situation that is bad lol
Just don't buy anything
I think it says more about the state of the industry and players. Getting nickel and dimed and liking it! lol Sad times.
From horse armour to loot boxes to having to pay for a PS5 upgrade and everything in between. People will never learn, apparently. Keep on milking, SE. They want it oh so badly. xD
I think it comes down to a couple different types of people
1. want everything for free because they sub to the game
2. want things dirt cheap because they sub to the game
3. dont care what the prices are because nothing in there is needed to actually play and look good in the game
4. dont care what the prices are because they know how to budget and giving up their daily fix ($6 coffee etc) means they can spend the money to get something they like
5. dont care because they have more money than sense and just like to buy everything, to show off OR support the game
6. complain because thats just what they do all the time. (for those types here is some cheese for your whine..)
preachNo one is saying you can't complain. There's a reason 'vote with your wallet' has been tossed around multiple times in this thread and threads like it. If the prices are truly outrageous for you then not buying the products is absolutely a form of protest. What I'm seeing people take issue with is the passive aggressive clap backs and the idea that people /deserve/ these items.

There's truth in that. Though I'd say it isn't so much that some "don't care what the prices are" at all so much as that some people "don't care that the prices are what they are". If they jacked up prices to triple digits you can bet that there would be a lot more complaining around here.I think it comes down to a couple different types of people

Money, for most people other than the kind that swims in it and doesn't know what to spend it on, is still very much a consideration.
There's a difference between being able to (justify to) buy something at the current price tag and not at all caring what that price tag is, just like there is a difference between asking for the current price to be lowered and wanting stuff for free.
I've said before that I like where prices are at. This is not because I don't care because I would be able to afford the items anyway.
In fact, for leased virtual items I think the prices are on the high (but acceptable) end. This helps me to examine what items I really want to buy (and do I need them right this instant or am I willing to wait for a sale to see if I still want them then) because at the prices we're looking at impulse buys are, for me, right out of the question and to me that's a good thing.
Also, I'd like to lodge a complaint about the free cheese you offer. It does not appeal to my palate and should be exchanged for a higher quality offering immediately. I await compensation for the inconvenience I have suffered.
I feel like we need to keep this for every time ridiculous responses to these threads pop up. Well said.I think it says more about the state of the industry and players. Getting nickel and dimed and liking it! lol Sad times.

No one was forced to buy that st*pid horse armor DLC, no one is forced to buy a PS5 and/or pay for "upgraded" versions of the already available games. And, most importantly, none of those things are basic needs, so... pay for them if you want AND can, or just don't do it.
