Wouldnt that make u deluded for tthinking bad ideas are indeed shared with others? I do come across bad ideas being good ideas tho.
If it so much gives people sense of accomplishments... wont it just make that person ego bit much? Blinded by their own deluded justice? or just being right? or douchy right but at the same time wrong?

To show that you like someones post. Fairly self-explanatory.
its the internet dude. Quality control is not even on the list.
The community team reads the forum and gives the feedback of the playerbase to the devs in JP.
The like button helps them to determine what the community does or does not want. It's easier for them to see a post with a hundred likes instead of reading through 100 posts wich are all saying the same.
You also get some shiny medals above your avatar picture for providing and recieving likes.
Is that how that works? I always assumed it was just based on post counts. The community team reads the forum and gives the feedback of the playerbase to the devs in JP.

Don't think it goes beyond 6 gold medals either way.

Without a contrasting dislike button, it really holds no purpose, in my opinion.
Dislike buttons frequently get used just for the sake of trolling.
Likes don't mean all that much either unless you see the Like count getting into the dozens if not hundreds. Even then, it's better for others to express why they agree (or disagree) in a reply.
