So, since arcanists can be two different roles by lvl 30 with summoner and scholar (with both jobs sharing xp and a weapon type in books), why not apply it to some other jobs as well?

Pretty sure SE said they regret this decision because it made balancing both smn and sch troublesome.

Limited jobs would be fine if it were purely solo-able and not be capped 20 levels below max. I love blue mage; I hate them here. I mean, most skills are only obtainable in instances where you need a party. Solo play my ass. XD Horrible setback for a class I really love which is why I feel strongly about it. Oh well. It is what it is sadly. Screw it if they do the same for PUP if ever though.
