Suggestion: Free Company events

i'll preface this with the setup.

the free company i'm in holds events pretty much every weekend.
most recently it was hide and seek and before that it was basically a self created escort fate style thing where the company master and another high ranked member created level one characters and ran from ul'dan to revenant's toll trying to put themselves into dangerous situations.
at some point before that they were jumping off a cliff to see who could land closest to the target.
all in all the people running this free company are doing a fantastic job of just finding fun things to do.

that said, lower level characters (we have a few) sometimes don't have mounts or attunements to certain areas and can have trouble getting into certain areas of maps they do have easy access to due to enemy level.

so i was thinking it'd be nice if there were free company event tools that'd allow for setting of special conditions and rules for those who join the events (nameplates turned off for certain individuals, no flying, no mounts, can't be attacked by mobs, level sync to mobs, ect) as well as maybe some things for the ones running events such as selecting areas/maps the event will be in, setting starting points, ability to allow players to teleport to the starting point, scheduling, setting of prizes, ect) all in all i'm mostly just suggesting some sort of support tools for free company events created for fun that fall a bit more outside the usual in game faire.

That's a very interesting request and one I support. I'm sure there are some hard limitations to work around but even an old game like XI was able to give event support to the ingame weddings they had in that game, with decoration placement and I believe setting music but I may be misremembering. Before that they had you work with a GM to set things up within a certain framework.

It'd be an intensive process for sure but one that they could implement with enough work.
