Also you can very easily obtain i490 gear from a vendor in Eulmore by trading in Neo-ishgardian gear and some Phantasmagoria.
Probably a better use for Phanta than Deepshadow gear.
You can easily buy some cheap Neo-Ishgardian weapons (monk fists are cheap on my server) buy as many as you can and trade them all in for Certificates of Novelty, then get the Rain item with phanta and you're set.

All kinds of different ways to get the tomes. Most efficient is joining a Hunt link shell and or a discord group for your data center. YOu can usually cap the Phanta tomes in a couple of hunt trains.

Non tome wise, you can farm Eden Verse, Copied factory, buy some pieces of neo gear here and there though I suggest world visit to shop around for neo. Ask your FC if they are able to help out with crafting if you can provide the mats. I have even seen some PF crafters advertise crafting for free if you provide the mats. I highly recommend the neo gear over the deepshadow because you can upgrade it to 490.
