Unless they're out in the open where you can see them crafting, it's honestly not that easy to tell which players are using DoH bots unless they have an established history of botting in other ways (Which several players in my server's top 12 do) that are more easily identified, such as on DoL.

The ones who are using a script basically spam actions non-stop at a consistent pace and go through the crafts much quicker then an actual player would, though. I'm assuming this is why a lot of them choose to craft in places where they cannot be seen by others such as in inn rooms or their houses.

So. Over the years i've picked up how to tell who DoH bots. The macro's we use have the <wait.2> type of line in them to adjust for things. If you see a bot crafting, they will smash their buttons in quick succession. Almost like a person is doing it. But once the craft is done, they immediately go back down on the ground. It's hard to explain on text without showing somebody in person when somebody is seen doing it. But you might get the gist. It's like what you said but it's almost like watching somebody spam weave moves lol

I'm curious, what's the absolute highest points per hour someone has claimed to be getting legitimately?

Because I'm averaging around maybe 20Kish hourly with optimal gear/melds/food, which means it would take around 15 hours of crafting daily to hit the 300Kish points some of the top ranks on my server are pushing.

I'm probably doing something wrong, though.

It currently doesn't seem prevalent enough to really endanger the efforts of anyone who's trying especially hard, but every bot in top 12 is one less person who actually deserved the title missing out.

The main thing I'm worried about is people deciding they want to rank in the last few days and using a bot to skyrocket through the rankings.

I think my issue I'm seeing here with this is now that there's no new title, people who already have Saint are competing with new people who would like to get it, or even completing on multiple catagories (which imo is even worse, as it's not even a seperate achievement then). At least on my server most of the scores I'm seeing are legitimate, but I can't speak for other servers. I dont think anyone should be kept from doing it, because there are other achievements such as the "Featherfall's Finest" ones, but I would hope that they would implement something that if someone has multiple Saints, they only get one, and the other catagories the person in 13th would get it.

Looking at some of the Miner scores... +130k points, or higher, per day. That's over 16k points per diadem lockout for a full day. If they miss even one diadem run that 'points per run' increases exponentially. I have friends in it almost all day long, and they don't even hit 90k in a day.

Edit: I ran a full lockout of Diadem on Miner — accumulating 21,226 points (~7100/hr). I went the perception route with heavy use of Hi-Cordials. With full Aesthete's and my melds I can hit Perception and GP bonuses, but not the Gathering bonus. This wasn't a completely optimal run, but it was above average for sure. Hitting 7500 - 8000 points/hr is likely possible for someone that can hit all three bonuses. However, it's questionable if players are managing 6 - 7 runs every single day. So, a daily +130,000 score for MIN/BTN is doable.

It is a valid concern. I saw in chat where someone admitted to account sharing for this and didn't think there was a problem with it.
