Trying to divoce mid marriage?

tl;dr I have done majority of the marriage quests and basically just have to pick a date and do the ceremony but my s/o doesnt play anymore so I was wonder how I could go about canceling the quest line? or if I would have to go through a different process so I could end up marrying someone else.

You should be fine for the most part for choosing another partner but if you/your partner is pregnant then i'm afraid you are going to have to go through with the marriage in which case the game will not let you cancel the quest. But if you are not pregnant then just talk to the wedding guy in front of the giant church and tell him that and he will cancel the quest
