I really like PLD's style. It's got a really "dig your heels in" kinda style. I love how it can help keep a party together kicking and screaming through things like clemency as a prog is falling apart, to using cover on clerics to keep them alive. And having the one true invuln really adds to this. Paladin just oozes "you ain't gonna stop me, no slowing me down" especially as it's burst phase is ranged so it can disengage from the boss and still keep hammering it.
