Blazefire Saber is still unusable by Gunbreakers

I'll support that request. If only for the fact that then we'd likely see weapons added for every Job implemented after the event (and actually usable glamours added for WHM and BLM).

Not the same weapon type. I would first ask for fix to sound effects changes in 5.01. I'm personally tired of beating enemies to death with a blunt stick.

The Blazefire Saber in japan is known as a Dual Weapon not a gunblade, so they're pretty much not the same thing at all which is why its not been ported to gnb.

CNJ/WHM and THM/BLM: Just make the shafts longer.
NIN: Noel's Flame Fossil
DRK: Caius/Lightining's Chaos's Revenge
AST: Either one of Lightning's Shields from the sequels or something Fal'Cie or L'Cie related.
MCH: Sazh's Vega 42s pistol, either a lone pistol or in the combined, sniper rifle form. Or one of the guns NORA, the Guardian Corps, or PSICOM use. :B
SAM: Lighting's Crimson Blitz.
RDM: Jihl's riding crop or Lightning's Femme Fatale.
GNB: Lightning's Omega Weapon (Or maybe Cid's white gunblade, if we really want the same look as Blazefire.)
DNC: Hope's Airwing (Yes, I know ACN/SMN/SCH are using them already). Maybe just normal boomerangs or maybe have multiple form chakram.

I'd love it if AST can get a weapon based off Crystal Silence!

It's not, it's a sword that LITERALLY transforms into a gun. Which is far from being the same as our Gunbreaker weapons
