While I always hope for Prae, because it's the one with decent exp per unit time spent, being forced to increase said time spent without increasing said reward would kind of suck.

I mean, sure, it would be an extra 10 seconds here, 15 seconds there. However, it would also start to feel more like Castrum, which I despise as much for the constant stop and go with the unnecessary tiny searchlight/ceruleum pump type cutscenes and mandatory mobs as I do the lack of exp. More effort, a little less time, and way less exp. Making Prae more time on top of it already being a roughly 45 min experience without upping the rewards would definitely make it less bearable.
The only reason i pop into main scenario is for the exp boost at the end. Many people I know flat out refuse to do MSQ because the cutscenes crap. So like you, if the rewards were worth it, then sure. As it stands though, no way. The only reason you have people queue into that mess to begin with is the rewards at the end. If they didnt do that, nobody would be able to clear 2.0 story without a FC or PF. I still cringe when it isnt Prae bc i think Castrum gives you less exp
