    Removing WAR aura effect

    Hi, it's the first time I use this forum so I hope I'm doing this right.

    Basically I'm a WAR main and the recent changes have made the class even better than it was to me. The only complaint I have, is that I hate the aura effect that is activated when the gauge isn't empty. It's a really bad effect, but the thing I hate the most is that it stays active even when mounted, or out of combat just doing random thins.
    I know in the past SE has changed the aura that DRK has, so I really hope they do the same for WAR.

    Whenever I ask people what they think about it I get answers like: "I don't mind it, I cange to another job and then back to WAR to reset it.", but that does mean they actually don't like it, and also why would I wanna have to change class every time just for that. Most people don't want to complain because they don't wanna be seen like a whiny baby, but if we don't say our opinion, things will never change.

    Doesn't it only get activated once it is activated? like it doesn't carry out of instances right? I find it weird that Paladin doesn't have one, Maybe they can try making it so Tanks only have theirs when they are in Main-Tank Stance, Would probably be the best way to fix that issue.

    I actually find myself getting confused sometimes that I'm not in any stance really hard trying to break that habit. i kind of miss that feature.

    The upside to that is it'll give visual flair, But i still miss the indication of having an OFF tank Buff and a MAIN tank buff it helped facilitate swapping and worked as a visual aid for healers and tank.

    I wish they merged the two buttons instead and just buffed enmity generation across the board in either stance.

    I'm not a WAR, but even if i would want to be, this aura would ruin it. Either give us something like server side /bahamutsize to turn it off, or rework the effect, because it shouldn't be permanent.

    No, leave my warrior aura alone.
    If it needs to be modified then it should be modifiable through macro commands like Bahamut's size.
    Changing the aura such that it is gone permanently would really hurt part of WAR's theme just like how they modified DRK's aura which really took away from its theme.

    We should be able to turn things off that obstruct the view of our characters. As you can see, I'm saying to make it optional, not remove it entirely.

    This absolutely ruins WAR for me, and I really hate the green swirlies on MNK too with Greased Lightning stacks. I don't need a ridiculous animation around my character when the job gauge plainly shows the information without turning my character into a 1980s laser light show.

    rather than get rid of the aura or nerf it killing the visual apealing of the job i would recomend move the aura from the gauge to the storm eye buff so when the buff fade out the aura will too without sacrifice anything or make every visual effect fade off when you finish the encounter and get reactivated when you engage an enemy, we lose a lot of nice things just for things like that and asking to be removed instead of being adapted.

    just keep it as is. if SE is gunna change it they have to add a toggle able option as not to affect current wars. I can understand if it gets annoying, but its also one of the appeals of war.

    lol no hard feeling was just a joke. i agree with making it optional, but the change should not affect current war players. If there is a change like a toggle i shouldn't know that it was implemented.

    I just posted a very similar thread. Came over from WoW, digging the warrior but this thing drives me nuts.

    I know a lot of people like it. Heck, I like it during combat, I just wish it would fade 10 - 15 seconds after combat ends. Let me run around town or whatever without it.
