a small request to Developers

Entering the offices of the Firmament’s organizer and leader of its restoration and places a hand penned letter on a prominent place on the desk hoping It will not be missed amongst the many requests and other important paperwork left for Lord Francel de Haillenarte. The letter reads as follows:
“To the Lord Joacin Charlemend Francel de Haillenarte,
Greetings and Salutations from your Friend and Restoration Partner Morri Pawsoff. I hope this letter finds you well. We have made great strides on the repairs to the firmament and I am looking forward to seeing the Featherfall areas completed and what will come next. I am also writing to ask about an idea that has occurred to me. With our work in the Diadem collecting materials for the reconstruction effort I am wondering if we are cutting our fishers a bit off at the knees? Yes there is the chance for these fish to be broken down and traded for the materials needed for the construction so our fishers can also build an assist our reconstruction. But they are seemingly banned from using the Aetheromatic Auger we are loaning to the gatherers in the field. Could modifications be made to turn those fish into aether charges for our fishermen to also enjoy the power of this tool. Could we get someone from the Skysteel Manufactory to look at this idea and maybe work up a prototype for us?

OOC: ok to those who are reading this I am asking the Final Fantasy XIV development team to consider adjustments to the diadem for fishers. Would love to turn the fish into charges for the Aetheromatic Auger for a change of pace with the fishing activity in the diadem. Anyone having the same troubles who would be willing to help keep this topic alive for the Moderators and Developers to see I will be grateful for this chance.

While i appreciate the effort, you writing it like that is just obstructive to the point you're trying to make. This is the public general discussion forums, not an RP chatroom. When was the last time you wrote a letter to someone and a picture of your face, a mug shot really, was on the left after you posted it? Must you stay in character even on a text based forum completely removed from the game?

While a botanist can get points for miner and a miner points for botanist with that cannon - with that change you could get points for miner and botanist as a fisher, while miner and botanist can't get points for fisher.

I have no other argument against it I guess...

While we are at it: I think it is not fair that fisher gets not spirit bonding at all on the 490 gear in Diadem.
