I have heard alot of complaints around my server of how boring it is to just beat down on the same senseless mob for hours on end. True there are now plenty of other things you can do but Grinding in an exp party is one of the most common now.

My suggestions is to spice these up a little bit with random events for parties that stick around a particular area, or kill a mob type repeatedly. Maybe the community can come up with some more but I think idea's such as these will give the world a little more depth and realism.

Alpha mobs,

Grinding on Raptors and such can get pretty boring when you've already killed 50 of them and they pose no challenge. I suggest throwing some random Alpha mobs in the mix every so often to keep parties on their toes. Such a mob would spawn after a requirement is met, say 1.5 hours in a zone killing X mob, or 50 Raptors killed by the party, or what ever. Change up the battle music when it spawns and have it run in with a few minions of its own.

Random triggered quests

Another suggestion is a random guild leve type quest activation. When requirements are met such as mentioned above have an NPC run up crying for you help for you to save their caravan or family from ravenous chickens, ahem I mean dodo's. Give the party the option to pass or accept and put an appropriate reward with it.

The world is an increasingly dangerous place and we should see a little more of that. step up the empires patrols, we should see scouting parties and such randomly and frequently. Would be cool if we saw Empire camps randomly setting up and moving around frequently traveled routes.

What of the growing red apocalyptic danger heading for the world? does it not cause any physical change on the world? Aetherites should be affected and climates should be changing. We should be seeing things like abnormal energy apparitions or monsters because of the growing energy forces between us and Delmond.

There is so much that could be done to make the world truly immersive and exciting. Everything done up to this point and announced so far is awesome don't get me wrong. SE you are doing a great job and I hope that some of these suggestions spark even more great ideas.
