Can you two just...shut up...and just say yes or no to more hairstyles?

Could you guys take it outside? Y'all be derailing as heck.
On topic: To OP: yes I know what you mean and I'm all up for it. To future posters, let's tone down the encyclopaedic knowledge of hairs and just vote yay or nay, mmkay?
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.

I'm not going to derail further, but I do want to say that humans are animals, we evolved just like they did and it's not a coincidence that straight hair is the single most common feature of mammals, not a coincidence either since hair itself is an evolution of the scale in reptiles.
That's all, I won't be responding further, in regards to that topic, it's just important to address things in a factual manner.
GW2 is the gold standard for character customization in my opinion, they push out hairs somewhat regularly, new weapon skins are pretty much every two weeks, and the dye system is MILES better than what FFXIV can muster, not to mention the character creator itself is way more robust and nuanced than 'pick 1/4'.

I can (and have) spend(ed) hours just sitting in the character creator making characters in that game. Even without spending a dime on cosmetics your character can look so interesting/unique.GW2 is the gold standard for character customization in my opinion, they push out hairs somewhat regularly, new weapon skins are pretty much every two weeks, and the dye system is MILES better than what FFXIV can muster, not to mention the character creator itself is way more robust and nuanced than 'pick 1/4'.
Another game that got it right, Valley of the Gods, i remember watching the devs workshop the art for the hair
Here's an article about it.
It's a singleplayer adventure game, so you can't quite have that level of animation and lighting here, but here's hoping there will be more itteration on this technique in the future so we can see a more optimized version become standard for all games with character creation♥
Edit, ok bait chomped, that slapped me in the teeth, I have no choice.
Holy crap Amnmaat, please. Humans are animals. Basic fact of reality. If you cannot accept that there is no use talking with you about anything really. Go read any kind of biology book please or take an evening class on biology, for your own sake. Seriously I am concerned at this point. This is not something an adult should go through life not knowing.

Damn they really nailed it with that one, now I'm kind of curious if that kind of hair work will ever be part of FFXIV, I know the way they do it with the helmet and then the tubes/curls could feasibly work in this engine I also feel like the limitations in the system would stop that.
Shame too because that fluffy bounce is PERFECT, would look so good on a lot of the races too, Viera with big curly hair like that would be MWUAH!

Hair like that requires some decent physics, which is something this game doesn't have, at all.
When i see aLalafellcharacter wearing a cute glam
That's natural hair done right. Square enix could get some assistance from their western studios like Crystal dynamics.I can (and have) spend(ed) hours just sitting in the character creator making characters in that game. As to your claim of which is more common; that has no effect on which one appeared more than 100,000 years ago and which one is very recent (straight hair); thus that's the ethnic style.

More options, yes more is always better when it comes to character creation.
