Race specific gear for all races

It would be nice to have the race specific gear also available for all races, too.

Some pieces are so nice for glamour but sadly restricted to specific races (like the Elezen gloves, Viera boots and so on). What is the reason for having only those restricted?

Honestly, there's probably design philosophy reason to not make them accessible, but rather its the fact that pieces of those sets are only designed with the rigs of the particular races in mind and they just don't see it worth being the time to expand what races each outfit is compatible with, so they keep the whole thing locked behind the race.

Considering the player race is brought up zero times after creation, and there is never another gear set designed with races in mind, i'd hazard a guess that this isn't the reason.

That's sort of what I was getting at, it's the only set in the game that is unique to the race and gender you choose and they may want to keep it that way, but you're probably right they don't consider it worth the time and work either.

I think they said they were open to the different hempen sets being able to be used by everyone, but it's definitely low priority if it's even on their radar at all anymore.

If this happened I feel like 80% of players would be running around in the veira set. So that's a no thank you from me. How about we just remove class restrictions from gear instead?
