Why did they release two races then?

If they released only Viera and saved Hrothgar for next expansion and polished both, perhaps with 2 genders each, there probably wouldn't have been much outcry at all. In fact it would have worked out better. Even if they released only Hroth and promised Viera in 6.0 players would have accepted it.

They bit off far more than they could chew attempting 2 full races in one go like that.

Apparently everyone that says this forgot the first Heavensward artbook had Viera concept sketches as one of several potential options for what would later became Au Ra, the then new race.

Viera were always coming; it's Hrothgar that were thrown in at the last minute.

Looking forward to the Restoration, though. I enjoy the slow burn and the place looks sooo nice. ^^

Seeing as I can't use the hairstyle, I'll just sell them along with the new outfit (which I don't find very attractive). I made about 30 million in four days last restoration. I am looking forward to being showered in gil. Also, that RAM mount is awesome. I can't wait to feel so regal on it.

Don't really care about anything other than being able to armoire the 4 new Yokai weapons (I'm surprised they weren't immediately armoireable when they were added; they've usually been good in recent years about new event items being immediately armoireable)

The Firmament stuff was too confusing for me to get into when they first added it, so I've never bothered with it. All the NPCs and dialog that were there to presumably introduce and explain the system went on and on and on to the point it utterly lost me. Frankly, that's an accomplishment in and of itself, considering I'm someone that actually used to read instruction manuals for games before starting to play them and only stopped because modern video games don't seem to bother to include them anymore (which has sometimes made games too difficult for me to get into, depending on how much their developers bother to make them intuitive to pick up and play without an outright instruction manual)

Additionally, because I already had everything at 80 by the time it was added, that meant there was no EXP to incentivize me, either (incidentally, this is also a problem with the qitari/dwarf beast tribe quests; they don't seem to substitute any sort of different reward for 80s who can't get any more EXP)

Disappointing hairstyle. Majority of the styles follow this exact style. Short, boyish and "wild".
Once again only few hairstyles remain usable. Looking at what majority wears I can already see maybe few of these per server

It honestly looks terrible on most races. Could have given us more ponytail styles or just straight up longer in general styles. SE needs to stop piggbacking on the whole "iT cLiPS toO MuCh!" excuse. Also the textures are dog shit.
