I'd thought about that but decided I'd rather have it where you destroy the item to make the log entry because it might help the economy in game a little if crafted things were getting destroyed and taken out of circulation more often.

I would love some UI improvements. I've gotten used to a lot of the menus and I love the new HD ui elements. Still I would like a few things to make things a little easier.
I would love a list style inventory with tab categories at the top. I think all Final Fantasy games have a list style inventory instead of a grid style. I know the names of items, not what their little icon looks like. I think this would be a nice option.
When calling our retainers I wish we could have all of them out at once so they could see each other. Also, when posting things for sale, I would like if that could be done with fewer menus. Could it show market history as well as the current items in one screen?
This isn't a UI improvement but I would love a balcony for the apartments so I could do some gardening.

I would be fine with that too. I just want to have a variety of appearances available and free up my inventory.
More levelling options for new and alt characters. Etc, Public dungeons (24 max player limit) from lv15 - 90.
I only have a small wish, wall mounted portraits of Ardbert and Emet. Then, I’ll start play housing.
- Gold Regalia as a gil sink mount
- More things to spend those achievement points on
- A deep dungeon on the moon

All these people asking for NPC combat partners just reminds me of our Path Companion from 1.0, who presumably died at some point because they just vanished.

Takes me back to Dragon's Dogma Online (the only other MMO I played to any extent, admittedly...) where you could hire and, eventually, create 3 AI companions, and never had to interact with another player ever

I'm probably the exception, but I'd love to see an expansion of the Trust system. I'd like to take Trust companions into trials (not raids, just trials). Using the Trust system would be a great way for many players to learn the mechanics (just like in the dungeons), and there's certainly enough NPCs available to choose from for something like that. And for those that don't want to use the Trust system, you don't have to. It's always completely optional.
I'd also like to see Trust companions useable earlier in the game after the initial unlock (like for level 61-69 dungeons that squadrons don't cover). It would also be nice to have Trust NPCs fill in gaps for smaller groups that don't want to or don't have time to wait for a queue. Another option I would like to see is to be able to call chocobos out in dungeons to help battle.
