Phoenix Down: Can I have it?

With the new jobs, and the abolition of people's ability to raise as a result- can we add Phoenix Down as an item? The raise doesn't have to be super awesome (25% HP and Weakness or whatever)- but with the recent item revisions it'd be a good time.

New dungeons with chests, instead of G5 DM why not add in Phoenix feathers to the mix?

We have these; it's called company issue tonic, and to a lesser extent company issue expectorant.

If an item just like it exists already then I definitely think they should add them. Company issue tonic hardly screams Final Fantasy to me. Not that the tonic shouldn't exist but why not add the FF staple too.

Well, it would be nice to have an option of getting raise items other than using GC seals. While they have taken measures to increase the rate at which players can earn the seals- having a new alchemy recipe made from drops in dungeon chests would be a good addition.

Gives you the ability to make +1's as well.

Phoneix Down - Removes KO and restores 25% HP, adds weakness.
Phoenix Down+1 - Removes KO and restores 50% HP, weakness 1/2 duration.

Something like that.

Is the regular/easy availability of Phoenix Downs meant more for an environment where Raises were not as easily obtainable? We presently have an environment where any class can equip raise, and WHM, PLD, and BRD can also all raise. Is it still a necessity that Phoenix Downs are more readily available (and needed) than with a few company seals?
