XBOX ONE AND 360 CONTROLLER ISSUES (GENUINE)

My controllers don't work anymore or disconnect every seconds
I did all that : Try using a genuine Xbox360 or Xbox One controller (preferably wired) as these are compatible with Windows OS.
    - Try plugging the controller into different ports (both front and back).
    - Make sure all drivers for the controller are fully up to date.
    - Uninstall and reinstall the device drivers.
    - Disable all other device drivers, leaving the mouse, keyboard, and controller as the only active devices.
    - If you are using a specialized gaming keyboard, try using a different keyboard to ensure there are no conflicts between the devices.
    - Try unplugging all other devices and only plugging in the mouse, keyboard, and controller.
    - Make sure Windows has been fully updated form the Microsoft/Windows Update website.

But the problem remains. i'm not the only one please fix this

I'll spread the word about micro-usb because that's the lesser known issue that took me forever to realise.
If you have an Xbox One or PS4 controller connected (wired) through its micro usb port and it used to work fine but is now intermittent (frequent disconnect) it's because that type of port very gradually becomes a tiny tiny bit loose over time, imperceptible to the eye but it's enough to give some wiggle and disconnects.
This issue doesn't happen with the newer usb-c type connector, which xbox series X and ps5 controllers use.

And if it's not that then it's usually a conflict issue with another device or software but you said you tested that. Do you still have the issue when using the controller wirelessly?

actually the controller works fine with every other games.
By the way, FF detects my Xbox one pad as an xbox 360 pad which let me think that the game has a problem.
Probably the one I had previously.
I can't say wireless I have no dongle nor bluetooth on my pc
Moreover this happened at the same time that 5.3 update and I saw other posts in that way

    I have more info, the issue happens only on steam and nowhere else;
I bought a second non steam copy of the game.
I was considering it earlier because steam is actually annoying but the problem is I lost my characters and must restart everything
