    Empty retainers are not booted except when the owner finishes a session with one empty. So the empty retainer will stay there, the owner will come by and put more cheap ore for bazaar during his session, and the retainer never goes away.

    Yep, I'm looking at 8 empty retainers (selling wise)...clearing out inactive and empty retainers was the purpose of the wards resetting which people complained about.
